Checklists
Checklists by product type
The general photo-request checklist covers any order. Beyond that, each product type has a few questions worth asking specifically. Below are focused lists for the three categories in this site's reference set, each linked to its examples.
Jackets, coach jackets and tracksuit sets
- Both pieces of a set. For a jacket-and-trousers set, confirm both are present and in matching sizes before shipping.
- Zips and pockets. Ask for the main zip and pocket zips photographed opened and closed, so you can see they run smoothly.
- Logo and stripe placement. Front, back and sleeve details in one frame, since misaligned stripes or logos are common on this type.
- Collar, cuffs and hem. Ribbing, snaps and drawcords laid flat.
- Lining and interior seams. Where the jacket is lined, a look inside for finishing.
Hoodies, sweatshirts and knit sweaters
- Print or embroidery, up close. Alignment, density and loose threads on the graphic.
- Knit gauge and surface. For sweaters, a close photo to judge how tight the knit is and whether it is already pilling.
- Ribbing at cuffs and hem. That it is even and springs back.
- Hood and drawcord. Both cord ends present, hood shape even.
- Interior seams. Turned inside out where possible, to check overlock stitching.

Accessories
This category is broad, so the key is to ask for the one detail that decides the item:
- Caps: embroidery quality, brim shape, and the closure or marked size.
- Belts: the buckle finish and mechanism, the number and spacing of holes, and total length.
- Sunglasses: lenses free of scratches, hinges tight, and any markings readable — without treating markings as proof of origin.
- Cardholders and pouches: stitching, hardware and interior lining close up.
- Swimwear: print alignment and lining — and confirm the return policy first, since hygiene items are often non-returnable.
Whatever the category, a photo confirms visible details only. It does not establish materials, authenticity or how an item will wear — see inspection limits.
